Born in Agoura Hills, CA, Alissa moved to the Bay Area in 1997 to attend the University of California, Berkeley. After graduating in 2001 with degrees in Business Administration and Spanish Language and Culture, Alissa began working for a management-consulting firm in downtown San Francisco. At Cal, she volunteered as a bilingual tutor for students at an elementary school near the university. Alissa is continuing to pursue her interest in community services with TennisForKids.org through the development of new programs.
