Dave is an entrepreneur who has participated in the growth of many technology businesses over the past 16 years. Originally from Shamokin, PA, Dave received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. A former competitive basketball player and ski racer, Dave learned how to play tennis with a wooden racket at the famous McKinnley playground and Indian Hills Swim and Tennis Club in northeastern Pennsylvania, and credits his parents' creative instruction for his lightning footwork. Dave has been involved in teaching youth as a basketball counselor for Pennsylvania Parks and Recreation, and as a volunteer for America True, True-Youth, an America's Cup sailing syndicate created to teach the fundamentals of sailing to at-risk youth. "I love most sports and especially tennis because it's fast-moving and a game that you can play almost anytime and anywhere. Helping to build TennisForKids.org has been ideal for me because of the opportunity to instill good health, self-esteem and teamwork in San Francisco's kids, as well as the opportunity to play more tennis."
As a Director for TennisForKids.org, Dave is involved with everything from sponsorship and partner development, to Web content development and marketing, as well as acting as Secretary to manage the organization's legal requirements.
